  • Minimum age 12 years (10/11 year olds can earn a Junior Advanced certification with depth limits)

Day 2 – Deep Dive, Nitrox Workshop & Additional Adventures

  1. Review deep‑dive theory and nitrox procedures.
  2. Conduct your mandatory Deep Dive to a maximum of 30 m using air.
  3. Complete two more adventure dives of your choice (e.g., Wreck, Fish Identification, Search & Recovery, or Night Dive) – these may be boat or shore dives.
  4. During surface intervals, you’ll learn to analyse oxygen content, log dives, and set your dive computer for enriched air.

Day 3 – Nitrox Diving & Certification (optional day)

  1. Practise analysing nitrox cylinders and planning dives on enriched air.
  2. Conduct a fun dive using nitrox to experience longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals.
  3. Debrief with your instructor, complete the final knowledge reviews/exams, and submit your logbook for certification.
  4. Receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Diver certification cards.

Optional extras include an additional deep dive at Deep Dive Dubai (additional fee) and a PADI eLearning credit if you prefer to study online in advance.

  • Course sessions: every day at 9 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM; each session lasts 2–3 hours.
  • Nitrox diving day: scheduled on the final course day; timing coordinated with instructors.
  • Prerequisites: participants must hold a PADI Open Water Diver certification and be at least 12 years old.
  • Complete the first two chapters of the e‑Learning course before diving.
  • The course usually takes 2–3 days, but dives may be scheduled over 6 months.
  • Nitrox diving extends bottom time but requires careful oxygen‑exposure management; follow your instructor’s guidelines.
  • Always dive with a buddy and adhere to safe diving practices.
