Your technical diving course includes:

• Official Tec 45 certification

Prepare for your Tec 45 scuba course with:

• A high level of commitment and focus
• Signed and valid Diver Medical Form (within 12 months, no changes)
• Personal scuba and technical diving equipment
• Reusable water bottle and light snacks
• Towel and flip-flops
• Valid ID

Session 1 – Orientation & Advanced Planning

• Orientation and advanced planning workshop (including software planning)
• Handling higher oxygen content gases safely
• Team procedures, communication, and course goals
• Dive 1

Session 2 – Decompression Discipline

• Expanded gas planning and decompression procedures
• Emergency planning and task-loading control
• Defined team roles and coordination
• Dive 2

Session 3 – Skills Refinement

• Skill repetition and consistency training
• Mastery benchmarks before open water progression
• Optional trimix upgrade discussion
• Dive 3

Session 4 – Real Dive Execution

• Execute planned technical dives under supervision
• Apply procedures in real diving conditions
• Group debrief to improve accuracy and teamwork
• Final evaluation and readiness for next level

• The course typically takes 3 days (4 Sessions). Each session lasts 3-4 hours.
• Daily start times at 9 AM or 2 PM 
• Group size: Maximum three divers per instructor for safety.
• Location: Deep training sites in Musandam and Fujairah.

• Tec 45 is a significant step beyond Tec 40; you will be executing longer decompression dives and managing a decompression cylinder.
• You must have excellent buoyancy, trim and situational awareness before enrolling.
• Oxygen exposure must be carefully managed; follow your instructor’s guidance.
• Many divers combine Tec 45 and Tec 50 into a single training programme to streamline progression.
• After Tec 45, you can progress to Tec 50, Trimix 65, Sidemount Diver or other technical specialties.
