Designed for young divers who have already started their Seal Team journey, this fun and educational experience introduces kids to exciting speciality AquaMissions in a safe, supervised pool environment. How to Earn your Scuba Diving Certification

Take your child’s diving journey even further with the Master Seal Team program. Designed for young divers ready for more, this course builds on foundational skills through advanced AquaMissions like navigation, search and recovery, and marine exploration. It’s an exciting progression that boosts confidence, teamwork, and underwater ability while keeping learning fun and engaging. As they complete each mission, kids gain a sense of achievement and belonging to an elite group of young divers . What you need to know

The Master Seal Team program includes a series of exciting AquaMissions designed to keep children engaged while developing useful scuba and water safety skills.

  • Ten specialty AquaMissions
  • Missions covering Creature ID, Environmental Projects, Navigation, Night Diving, Safety Skills, Photography, and more
  • Use of child-sized scuba gear
  • Underwater lights and specialty equipment
  • Pool sessions
  • Training with certified PADI instructors
  • Small group learning for better supervision and support

The following items are not included in the course fee:

  • Transportation to training sites and shallow reef trips
  • Meals beyond snacks
  • Personal swimwear, towel, and sunscreen
  • Additional fun dives or extra missions beyond the included specialties
  • Some missions may take place in shallow reefs, where transportation and boat fees are extra

The Master Seal Team program introduces children to a variety of fun and practical scuba-related skills while encouraging teamwork, curiosity, and ocean awareness.

Participants will learn:

  • Creature identification to recognize local fish and invertebrates
  • Environmental stewardship and basic reef conservation
  • Compass navigation and natural navigation techniques
  • Night diving basics using torches in a darkened pool
  • Safety skills, buddy procedures, buoyancy games, and teamwork
  • Optional specialty topics such as underwater photography, search and recovery, and exploration

This program builds on existing Seal Team skills and helps prepare children for the Junior Open Water Diver level.

To join the Master Seal Team program, participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of PADI Seal Team AquaMissions 1–5
  • Minimum age of 8 years
  • Comfort in the water and a positive attitude toward learning
  • Parental consent
  • No strict time limit, as missions can be completed over several days

Please note that Master Seal Team is a recognition program, not a formal certification.

For a comfortable and enjoyable experience, participants should bring:

  • Swimwear
  • Towel
  • Reef-safe sunscreen
  • Seal Team logbook
  • Snacks and water for longer sessions
  • Optional personal snorkel or mask

A sense of exploration and curiosity

  1. Register & Schedule
    Choose the most convenient time to complete the missions, whether during weekends, weekdays, or school holidays.
  2. Complete the Missions
    Each specialty AquaMission is conducted as a separate session. Kids can complete them individually or in blocks, depending on the schedule.
  3. Collect Badges
    After each mission, children earn a badge and log their experience, making the journey even more fun and rewarding.
  4. Celebrate the Achievement
    At the end of the program, participants receive the Master Seal Team emblem and can begin planning for the Junior Open Water Diver course.
  5. Optional Reef Missions
    Some specialties, such as Creature ID, may include a shallow reef trip in Fujairah. Please note that this option is available at an extra cost.
  • The course typically takes 2-4 days (1 Session). Each session lasts 2–3 hours.
  • Daily start times at 9 AM or 12 PM or 3 PM 
  • Group size limited to four kids per instructor.
  • Some missions may occur in shallow reefs (transportation extra).
  • This programme is an advanced experience, not a certification.
  • Depth remains 2 m/6 ft in the pool; shallow reef sessions may be slightly deeper but still child‑friendly.
  • Kids must have completed Seal Team AquaMissions 1–5 and be comfortable underwater.
  • Missions emphasise marine ecology and conservation; encourage respect for the ocean.
  • Completion prepares children for the Junior Open Water Diver course at age 10.

Most kids finish over two–three weekends; missions can be spaced out.
Parents may observe and cheer, but are not required in the water.
At age 10, kids may enroll in the Junior Open Water Diver course with a head start on buoyancy and navigation.
Some missions can take place on shallow reefs in Fujairah for fish identification and environmental projects.
Dive plans may be adjusted or rescheduled for safety. Alternative locations or dates will be offered where possible.
All participants must complete a PADI medical questionnaire. If any “yes” answers apply, a doctor’s clearance may be required.
