  • Comfortable diving to 30 m and handling multiple cylinders.
  • Completion of classroom work, confined‑water drills and two shallow open‑water dives.
  • This course does not award a PADI certification but prepares you for Tec 40 training.

  • Transportation to the pool and dive sites; meals and accommodation.

In this basic tec diving course, you will focus on:

  • core technical diving fundamentals

  • stronger tec diver foundations for future course progression

  • Classroom session covering tec philosophy, gear configuration, gas theory and basic decompression planning.
  • Confined‑water practice to set up backmount or sidemount systems, deploy long hoses, perform S‑drills and valve shutdowns.
  • Two shallow open‑water dives (max 15 m) to practise buoyancy, trim and fundamental tec procedures.
  • Use of twin sets, sidemount harnesses, stage cylinders and regulators.
  • Certification of completion for Nemo’s Tec Basics programme and guidance on next steps.
