What you need to know

  • Full scuba equipment and professional instructor supervision
  • Safety briefing and orientation
  • Bubblemaker scuba experience in shallow water
  • Digital recognition certificate (upon request)
  • Optional underwater photos for lasting memories
  • Transportation to the training location.
  • Meals beyond snacks.
  • Personal swimwear, towel and sunscreen.
  • Optional underwater photos or extended sessions (available at an additional cost).
  • Open‑water dives (Bubblemaker is pool‑based).
  • Parent participation in the water (available separately via Discover Scuba Diving).
  • Experience breathing underwater with child‑sized scuba gear.
  • Practise hand signals and communicate with the instructor.
  • Float weightlessly in a pool or calm bay to a maximum depth of 2 m/6 ft.
  • Play games like following fish‑shaped targets and blowing bubbles.
  • Receive positive reinforcement and encouragement to pursue more scuba adventures.
  • Minimum age 8 years.
  • Comfortable in water; basic swimming ability.
  • Parental or guardian approval.
  • Bubblemaker is an introduction, not a certification; it runs for about two hours.
  • Kids can progress to Seal Team afterwards.
  • Swimwear and a towel.
  • Change of clothes.
  • Reef‑safe sunscreen and drinking water.
  • Camera for parents to capture the moment (optional).
  • An enthusiastic attitude!

  • The course typically takes 1 day (1 Session). Each session lasts 2–3 hours.
  • Daily start times at 9 AM or 12 PM or 3 PM .
  • Group size: 2–4 kids per instructor for safety and fun.
  • Held in a heated pool in Dubai or calm lagoon in Fujairah.
  • Bubblemaker is purely for fun and introduction; there is no certification or depth requirement beyond 2 m.
  • Kids must feel comfortable in the water; no prior experience is needed.
  • Parents are encouraged to watch from the poolside.
  • After Bubblemaker, children can progress to Seal Team for structured AquaMissions.
  • The water is warm and shallow; sessions are designed to build confidence.
