You’ll begin with the fundamentals. Our instructors will teach you how to set up and use scuba equipment, control your buoyancy, communicate underwater, plan safe dives, and respond to common problems. Theory sessions cover dive science, pressure effects, equalisation, and decompression basics. Confined‑water sessions allow you to practise in a controlled environment before moving on to four open‑water dives where you’ll demonstrate your skills in real‑world conditions.
After achieving the Open Water certification, you’ll immediately broaden your skills. The Advanced course focuses on refining your buoyancy and navigation and introduces you to new environments. You’ll complete five adventure dives, two of which are mandatory – Deep (to 30 m) and Underwater Navigation – and choose three elective dives such as Wreck Diving, Night Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, or Underwater Photography. Each dive has a specific objective, and an instructor will help you develop the techniques you need to dive safely at greater depths or in challenging conditions.
The final part of this combo teaches you to dive using air with a higher percentage of oxygen (typically 32% or 36%). You’ll learn how enriched air reduces nitrogen uptake, allowing for longer no‑decompression limits and shorter surface intervals. The course covers analysing gas mixtures, setting your dive computer, calculating maximum depths, and planning nitrox dives. Two nitrox dives give you hands‑on experience using the procedures you’ve learned.
