How to Earn your Scuba Diving Certification

Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology (either in-person or online), then learn basic scuba skills in a pool (or pool-like environment) with a highly trained Nemo Instructor. When you’re ready, make four dives in an open water environment (the ocean, a lake) with your instructor supporting you every step of the way.

No. This package is designed for complete beginners who are comfortable in the water and can swim. You’ll learn everything from scratch.
Most students complete the training in three days, but we recommend allowing four days to accommodate the nitrox workshop and an optional fun dive.
Yes. You’ll complete the Open Water requirements first, then immediately move into the Enriched Air module. Upon completion, you’ll receive both certification cards.
Enriched air has more oxygen and less nitrogen than normal air, allowing you to enjoy longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals on many dives. It’s especially popular for repetitive dive days and liveaboards.
Divers aged 10–11 can join our Junior Open Water course, but will need to wait until they’re 12 to take the Enriched Air specialty.
Yes. All equipment is provided; however, you are welcome to bring your own mask, fins, or computer if you prefer.
