The island’s seaward side features long sloping reefs adorned with green and purple whip corals. At low tide, the north (sea-facing) side is recommended for divers, while the south side is shallow and better suited for snorkelling. At high tide, you can explore the entire island, and the shallow south side offers chances to see turtles. Dibba Rock is also one of the region’s best night‑dive sites: polyps extend from corals to feed, and sleeping fish and turtles become easily observable.
Green turtles are commonly seen gliding among the corals or resting on the sand. Clownfish guard their anemones and may nip at curious divers or snorkellers. Keep an eye out for unusual jawfish; they build vertical burrows lined with shells and occasionally emerge in flashes of colour. At night, you may find sleeping fish and turtles lodged between rocks.

Had a great time diving in Fujairah with Nemo. Sergio was our dive guide and he knew the sites and conditions really well. I had organized transportation to and from Dubai through them as well and it was all arranged for and managed perfectly by Ahmed and Shafique. Read More

Highly recommend both the refresher course (in Dubai) & the dives (in Fujairah). The Nemo team right from the driver, to the instructors, to the captain of the boat and all the help are truly fantastic. It feels like a family. Actually all the instructors are friends/divers from Egypt!. Read More
