Bright yellow, pink and purple corals now encrust the wreck, creating a colourful contrast against the dark metal. Because the vessel lies near Martini Rock, divers can pair a wreck and reef dive in one outing. For those with proper training, it is possible to swim through the wreck: enter through the aft engine room hatches and exit forward. Nemo Diving Center reserves penetration for advanced divers to ensure safety.
This wreck is home to scorpionfish, little boxfish, pufferfish and moray eels around the deck. Crabs cling to rails and ropes, blending into the coral growth. Nudibranchs of various colours and shapes are plentiful, making this a macro photographer’s dream.
