About the International Trip

Experience unlimited house‑reef diving on a converted oil rig and explore some of Malaysia’s most celebrated dive sites. This 6‑day journey includes boat dives at Mabul, Sipadan, and Kapalai with optional night dives. Expect colourful coral reefs, sea turtles, bumphead parrotfish, reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, and more.

  • Day 1 (4 May) – Arrival on the rig, welcome drink, lunch, briefing, and check dive.
  • Day 2 (5 May) – Three boat dives at Mabul plus unlimited house‑reef dives.
  • Day 3 (6 May) – Two boat dives at Sipadan plus unlimited house‑reef dives; optional night dive.
  • Day 4 (7 May) – One boat dive at Kapalai and two boat dives at Mabul plus unlimited house‑reef dives; optional night dive.
  • Day 5 (8 May) – Two boat dives at Mabul plus unlimited house‑reef dives.
  • Day 6 (9 May) – Check out and return to Semporna; domestic flight; fly back to Dubai at 19:10.

Live on a converted oil rig turned dive resort in Sabah, right above the legendary Sipadan Island. Each day you’ll descend into one of the world’s richest marine ecosystems — encountering bumphead parrotfish, tornadoes of barracuda and turtles galore. Your accommodation sits directly over the reef, providing unlimited shore dives beneath the rig. Between dives, relax in hammocks, visit nearby Bajau Laut (Sea Gypsy) villages or climb the rig’s observation deck for sunset views. May is prime season with calm seas and mild temperatures, though we suggest bringing a light sweater for breezy nights. Perfect for intermediate and advanced divers who want something truly unique.
