How to Earn your Scuba Diving Certification

What you need to know

  • Full PADI Open Water course – e‑learning modules, confined‑water sessions and four open‑water dives in Fujairah (as described above).
  • One bonus dive at Deep Dive Dubai, the world’s deepest pool (60 m), with entry fee, equipment and guide included.
  • Full scuba equipment rental and dive computer.
  • Boat fees and refreshments during Fujairah dives.
  • Certification processing and digital card.
  • Optional transfers between Dubai and Fujairah (add‑on).
  • Personal transport to Deep Dive Dubai or Dibba Al‑Fujairah.
  • Accommodation if you choose to stay overnight.
  • Optional Nitrox, photos or private coaching.
  • Meals beyond light snacks.
  • Dive insurance (recommended).
  • Any extra dives beyond the included five.
  • All skills and theory from the standard Open Water course.
  • Additional depth practice during your Deep Dive Dubai bonus dive: equalisation, buoyancy control and air management in a controlled deep‑pool environment.
  • Familiarity with unique submerged structures such as apartment rooms, tunnels and an underwater city.
  • How to transition between sea diving and pool environments safely.
  • Minimum age 10 years and ability to swim 200 m.
  • Complete all standard Open Water requirements before your Deep Dive Dubai session.
  • Bonus dive occurs after certification for safety.
  • Medical fitness and consent form for deep‑pool diving.
  • Certification qualifies you to dive independently to 18 m; the bonus dive is an experience rather than a separate certification.
  • Swimwear, towel and change of clothes.
  • Passport (required for Fujairah border control).
  • Water bottle, reef‑safe sunscreen and snacks.
  • Personal dive computer or torch (optional).
  • Certification card or proof of training if you have any prior credits.
  • PADI Open Water e‑Learning: Complete knowledge modules online.
  • Confined‑water sessions: Practise core skills in our pool.
  • Open‑water dives: Perform four dives over two days in Fujairah to earn your certification.
  • Bonus dive: After you’re certified, visit Deep Dive Dubai for one guided dive in the 60‑m pool, exploring its underwater city.
  • Continue your journey: Plan your Advanced Open Water or specialty courses.
  • Package length: 4 days 4 sessions
  • Daily start times at 9 AM, 12 PM or 3 PM.
  • Deep Dive Dubai sessions are available at the same times; we coordinate your visit after your open‑water dives.
  • Group size: up to four students per instructor.
  • You must complete the full Open Water certification before the bonus deep‑pool dive.
  • Deep Dive Dubai requires a separate liability waiver; please arrive 30 minutes early for briefing.
  • The bonus dive is for practice and enjoyment; it doesn’t affect your certification depth limit.
  • Transport between Dubai and Fujairah is not included unless you add our shuttle service.
